Law Abiding Citizen Poster - Textual Analysis

- There is a contrast between the white, which connotes innocence and purity with the red which connotes corruption and evil.

- The noisy quality background with slashes infers violence and danger within the film.

- There is a lot of shadow which similarly connotes darkness and danger.

- The typography is powerfully grungy which infers violence and danger.

- The Beard on Gerard Butler's roughness and imprisonment.

- Due to the actors being placed on different sides and heights on the poster infers that they could be on different sides of the law.

- The characters staring straight at the audience draws them in and entices them to delve deeper into the plot of the thriller.
